Application Database Layer Generator
Kuboš, Jaroslav ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design and implementation of a framework for the database persistence layer development. This framework is easy to use while keeping the code elegance. It supports object oriented programming features such as inheritance and collections. Other features include versioning of objects and lazy loading. The object metadata are obtained through reflection provided by the .NET framework. The framework is not using any literal for identification (classes, attributes) even in object queries. Most of checks are done by compiler.
Software Management
Kyzlink, Jiří ; Goldmann, Tomáš (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
The thesis deals with updating applications written for the .NET Framework platform and monitoring their status. Thesis solves both requirements with two frameworks. The first framework is based on the Squirrel.Windows library allowing updating the application to version selected by a user via the graphical or terminal user interface and it also supports release channels. The second framework simplifies registration of an application and its services to the consul health checking tool and also obtaining information about available application and services from the tool. Consul provides the ability to monitor availability and health of the registered applications and its services. Both frameworks are modular, targeting the broad range of applications with use of the .NET Standard. Frameworks were successfully internally deployed in Y Soft Corporation.
Client Part of the Project Documentation Management System
Bým, Ondřej ; Rychnovský, Lukáš (referee) ; Křivka, Zbyněk (advisor)
The goal of this work is to design a generally useful versioning system for the administration of different types of electronics documents, to design in detail and to implement the client part of this system (based on the client-server model). The implementation is built on .NET platform. This text also describes general approaches to versioning in different systems and shows a survey over the principles of the existing versioning systems with respect to the interaction with user.
The Cryptographic Protocol for Management and Approval of Document Versions
Lacko, Peter ; Hanáček, Petr (referee) ; Homoliak, Ivan (advisor)
This work deals with design and implementation of the system for document management and versioning. The first part contains description of related work. In the second part, information security concepts and security model, upon which application is build, is discussed. Third part contains description of designed system and its typical use in a form of sequence diagram. Fourth part introduces cryptographic protocol used in this work. Next follows the description of implementation and security analysis of developed system. The output of this work is cryptographic protocol for document management and versioning, and client-server application implementing this protocol.
Databases Versioning
Jindra, Petr ; Šeda, Miloš (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis is about versioning of databases. Firsts chapters are shortly describing the biggest problems what will need to solve. Thr second part refers to choosen database systems and introcution to SQL language. The last unit describes the development of program solving sketched problems.
Support of Snapshot and Rollback of Configuration Files in Fedora
Včelák, Jan ; Rogalewicz, Adam (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis deals with current possibilities of creating backups and versioning of configuration files in GNU/Linux operating system. Based on the findings a new tool for Fedora distribution was designed, implemented, and tested. The aim of the tool is to keep the benefits of existing solutions and to eliminate their drawbacks. In addition, it brings some new and useful features like synchronization with remote server and integration with other management tools.
Database Version Management for Application Development
Kotráš, Jan ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
The purpose of this work is to facilitate database version working on the database management system MySQL. The intention of application is to get efficiency and make simpler versioning of database layer for application development in smaller teams.
Pricing of IT Goods
Kacina, Michal ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Květoňová, Šárka (advisor)
The thesis contains the theoretical basis for study of possibilities of pricing information goods. The source areas are microeconomics, marketing, competitive advantage and economics of information goods. The model of market is created with constraints defined on the ground of theoretical basis. The thesis analyzes requirements that define the system that supports the choice of pricing strategy. It includes detailed design of the prototype of such system. The prototype is designed with robustness because of the future improvements. The design describes the prototype's input parameters and their transformation into useful outputs that cover basic characteristics of information goods. The designed prototype is implemented. The thesis includes demonstration of the prototype and possible directions for improvements that lead to validity of proposed model of market.
SQL Backend for Subversion
Horák, Jan ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Kašpárek, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis analyzes version control system Subversion and its available backends for storing data in a repository. It compares these backends and describes basic features of a new SQL database backend. Design and implementation of the new backend, based on MySQL database, is described and the new backend is then compared with existing backends BDB and FSFS.
History and Backup Support for zlomekFS
Wartiak, Rastislav ; Babka, Vlastimil (advisor) ; Obdržálek, David (referee)
zlomekFS is a distributed file system that supports disconnected operation using local cache. During synchronization of local changes it offers easyto-use conflict resolution mechanism. Further improved it became a file system with no specific kernel code. It has therefore a good potential in future public use. As the content of this file system can be updated by many users, keeping history of the changes can be a useful feature. This thesis implements file versioning in zlomekFS, answering the questions such as how to store and access the history. On top of the versioning, the possibility of consistent backup is introduced into the file system. New functionality is derived from the analysis of other file systems with similar features and selection of the most suitable approach for zlomekFS.
